Just a few short weeks ago, it appeared that the Federal Hocking Lancers were going to run away with the TVC-Hocking. A couple of upsets later, they find their once large lead whittled down. While they still hold an advantage over the Belpre Golden Eagles there is still no room for error.

The girls side of the TVC-Hocking has a similar chase in progress, as the Waterford Lady Wildcats picked up a huge win over the Lady Eagles of Eastern last week to bring the two teams to a tie atop the conference. The two teams are headed for a share of the title, however as recent play has shown us, anything can happen.

Athens and Vinton County remain in a tie for first place in the TVC-Ohio in boys play with both teams having four games remaining. The two teams are scheduled to play Feb. 12 for a game that will likely determine who will be conference champion.
