Fugitive Wanted In Virginia Captured In Wood County

A Virginia fugitive wanted on nearly 70 charges is in custody in Wood County.

Jamie Friend is wanted out of Shenandoah County.

Deputies said they caught him when responding to a call of a man with a gun Tuesday on Larkmead Road.

More than half the charges against Friend are felonies including grand larceny and entering a structure to commit assault and battery.

He's being held without bond awaiting extradition to Virginia.
