Ohio Picked to Finish Second in MAC East
< < Back to ohio-picked-finish-second-mac-eastThe Mid-American Conference announced the softball preseason poll and the Ohio Bobcats were selected second in the MAC East after receiving three first place votes.
Ohio finished last season second behind Bowling Green. The 'Cats went just under .500 in 2012 and finished the season 28-29 and 14-8 in conference play. The Falcons were selected to take first in the East in 2013 in Thursday's poll.
The Ball State Cardinals were selected to win the MAC West and were selected to win the MAC tournament.
The Bobcats kick off the 2013 season on Friday, Feb. 8 in Greenville, N.C. Ohio starts the 40th season in program history in the East Carolina Pirate Classic
