UPDATE 8:30 a.m. Route 14 has reopened after a fatal crash early Friday morning.
The accident happened just before 6 a.m.
According to Wood County 911 dispatchers the accident happened between Rosemar Road and Summit.
Wood County deputies are investigating a fatal accident that shut down Route 14.
