Ashland, KY

Voters have approved the sale of alcohol on Sundays in Ashland Kentucky.
Voters in two of the city's districts approved the change 159 to 50.
The City Commission will have two readings of the ordinance before official approval.
Ashland Mayor Chuck Charles says the city commissioners will set the hours of the sales.
Charles says the vote only affects restaurants, but the City Commission could also allow alcohol to be sold out of stores.
The first reading will take place Mar. 7.
