The Ohio Bobcats could not muster any offense in a 3-0 loss to Rhode Island.
Ohio (1-6) did not get a hit until the seventh inning and only had two hits all game.
Rhode Island (1-9) started in the second inning with three singles to load the bases, followed by a sacrifice fly by Chris Famiglietti.
Rhode Island added a run in the sixth and seventh innings to make it 3-0.
Ohio starting pitcher Marck Paliotto went 6.1 innings, allowing three runs and eight hits.
Rhode Island starter Mike Bradstreet pitched a complete game, only allowing two hits, no runs, and striking out 10 batters.
Ohio plays again on Sunday against UMass at 1pm.
