The Ohio men's golf team finished round two of the Pinehurst Invitational Monday tied for 11th with a combined score of 629 and 30 strokes off the tournament leading Old Dominion squad.

Senior Byron Firestone continued to lead the way for the Bobcats, as he shot a team best 77 and currently sits sixth overall. Firestone managed this by shooting par on 12 of the 18 holes and only having one hole where he scored worse than a single bogey.

Brad Burgess was Ohio's next best golfer, as he shot an 81 in the second round, including a birdie on his final hole. Connor Coldwater came in third for Ohio with an 82 that included a birdie on the eighth hole of the back nine.

Andrew Mlynarski was the Bobcats fourth and final golfer, as Michael Lamping didn't compete Monday. Andrew shot an 83 that summed up the golfing for the Ohio team.

Ohio will look to break the double digits Tuesday, as they finish the Pinehurst Invitational. The team will then return home for a three week break until they travel to Bloomington, In. where they will compete in the NYX Hoosier Invitational on April 6-7.
