Crowley is the award-winning host of State of the Union with Candy Crowley on CNN. She also serves as chief political correspondent for the organization and covers presidential, congressional and gubernatorial races and Capitol Hill.
On Oct. 16, 2012, Crowley moderated a 2012 general election debate between President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney in Hempstead, N.Y. The debate was the first to be moderated by a woman in two decades.
Crowley was in Athens as part of Communication Week 2013, a celebration of the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University.
