Women's Golf: Brinkmann Enters Final Round Of MSU Ocala In Second

Ohio Women's Golf finished day two of the MSU Ocala Invitational Monday and junior Kara Brinkmann led the way for the Bobcats yet again, this time finishing with a 74 and putting her in second place overall.

The team is currently tied for 12th with Rutgers and is 54 strokes off the leader with a total of 628. The Bobcats also shot 308 as a team, a 12-stroke improvement from day one, to help get closer to climbing up the leaderboard. With Brinkmann putting a respectable 74, other Ohio golfers improved from Sunday, the highest jump coming from Julie Lechner, who dropped 14 strokes off her 91 to record a 77 Monday. Another notable was Angela Codian, who shot a team second best with a 75 and dropped a stroke from Sunday.  

Ohio finishes the final 18 holes of the MSU Ocala Invitational Tuesday morning.
