Gov. Fills WVU Parkersburg Board Position

Jeffrey Matheny has been appointed to the West Virginia University at Parkersburg Board of Governors.

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced the Parkersburg resident's appointment Tuesday.

Matheny fills the seat vacated by Gregory K. Smith, who resigned last month.

Matheny is president of Parkersburg-based Physician's Business Office, a medical billing and physician practice management company.

He holds a master's degree in business administration from WVU.
