Western Michigan Forward Paul Transfers
< < Back to western-michigan-forward-paul-transfersWestern Michigan University announced Tuesday freshman forward Darius Paul will transfer to another school. Paul has not announced to which school he will transfer.
The move is coming after Paul garnered Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year honors with 10.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in the 2012-13 season.
Paul was a versatile forward playing alongside fellow big man Shayne Whittington.
The Broncos finished 22-13 last season and 10-6 in the MAC, which earned them the MAC West Division title.
Western Michigan lost to Ohio 74-63 in the MAC Tournament semifinals in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 15. Paul finished that game with 16 points.
