Wayne County High's principal says students accused of vandalizing the school with deer carcasses will be allowed to graduate if they clean up the mess.
Principal Sara Stapleton tells WCHS-TV that the students must clean the school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. The school's graduation ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday night.
State Police identified about 20 students who broke windows to get inside the school, then smeared deer carcasses and poured deer urine in several rooms. The students returned to school Monday to begin their cleanup efforts.
