Celebrate New Concord, the summer entertainment series now in its 13th year, will present its season finale with The Jerry Weaver Good Time Jazz Band on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.

The Jerry Weaver Good Time Jazz Band last appeared at Celebrate New Concord in 2010, drawing nearly 300 audience members.

Since its first New Concord appearance in 2003, the group has entertained more than 1,000 people and holds two places on the series' top 10 all-time attendance record.

The band plays a wide variety of Dixieland and Ragtime music that is ideal for the entire family.

This event, which takes place in Village Park, is free and open to the public. Visitors should bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.

In the event of rain, the performance will be moved into the firehouse at the park. Food service will be provided by Ruritan, with proceeds benefiting the New Concord Food Pantry.

Celebrate New Concord is sponsored by the Village of New Concord and the New Concord Area Board of Trade and is made possible through the support of the members of the Celebrate New Concord Patronage.
