A Logan man pleaded not guilty to 15 felony charges related to having sexual contact with a minor.

Terry E. Neal, 36, of Zanesville Avenue, appeared in Hocking County Common Pleas Court on Monday for his arraignment hearing. He pleaded not guilty to five counts of gross sexual imposition, five counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and five counts of sexual battery.

All the charges are third-degree felonies.

The charges stem from multiple alleged incidents occurring between November 2012 and April 2013 against the same victim, who was 12- and 13-years-old at the time.

Hocking County Common Pleas Court Judge John T. Wallace gave Neal a $100,000 cash surety bond. If he makes bond, Wallace said he is not permitted to have contact with the victim or any other minors.

Neal does not yet have an attorney and filed a request for a public defender.

Neal is currently being held at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail in Nelsonville.
