Starting Saturday, Oct. 5, the Zanesville Museum of Art will feature Turning Points: Wood Art.
Curated by Dr. Myron Knell, the exhibition features turned and carved wood formed by southeastern Ohio wood artists: Gary Border, Dr. Myron Knell, Mark Mitchell, Wilbur Mock, Dr. Joe Safko, Ray Thomas, Ron Thomas and Jim Warren.
Works by artists Ray Thomas and Tom Laser will be included from the permanent collection.
The museum will host a reception for the artists on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet many of the featured artists and learn about their artistic craft.
