A 43-year old Junction City man facing a rape charge involving a three-year old girl will soon have his case heard in front of a grand jury.

According to a press release from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 3 deputies from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office along with the United States Marshall’s Service arrested 43 year old Brian L. Hill for the rape of a three-year old girl on Sept. 16. The child was treated at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she underwent surgery to correct her injuries. Hill is currently housed at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at the Junction City residence that Hill then shared with his girlfriend, the mother of the young child involved in the case. At Hill’s preliminary trail held Oct. 8 in the courtroom of Judge Dean Wilson, evidence introduced in the court included testimony that crime scene investigators apparently discovered bloody clothing matching the victims and DNA near the house where the incident allegedly took place.

Judge Wilson continued Hill’s bond, which was set earlier in the week at $500,000. Hill has been incarcerated at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail since his arrest earlier this month.
