As part of WOUB's "Global Perspectives" series, our panel talks about the state of Nigeria, as the country celebrates its 53rd year of independence from Great Britain.

The discussion is led by Kingsley Antwi-Boasiako, features Ohio University assistant professor of political science Brandon Kendhammer, third-year OU graduate student Nancy Katu and master's student Opia Cletus Oji. The panel discusses the political state of the West African nation and the troubling violence in the country's north corner.
