Bell, Leach, Penrod Get School Board Seats At Logan-Hocking

In Hocking County, 17,868 registered voters cast a ballot in the 2013 November general election.

Lance O. Bell, Corby Leach and Ed Penrod were elected Logan-Hocking Local School District Board Members. Leach received the most votes with 2,487 while Bell got 2,004 and Penrod tallied 1,945. Susan Hodson Rhinehart finished with 1,718 votes and Paul Scarmack received 955 votes. Leach had 27.30% of the total 9,109 votes.

All votes are unofficial until the Board of Elections certifies them at a later date.

The Logan Elm School District Bond Issue is not passing. Six-hundred and sixty-four voters voted against it while 265 voters voted for it. 

The income tax for the Berne Union Local School District is not passing. Six voters voted “No” while two voters were in favor of the tax.

The election aggregation in the City of Logan is passing with 574 votes (54 percent) for "Yes."
