The Ohio University Performing Arts Series will welcome the critically acclaimed PROJECT Trio to the Baker Center Theater on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

The Trio, now in its fifth year, is pushing the boundaries of classical music with a high octane mix of jazz, hip-hop, and rock.

The group is drawing new audiences to classical music and reinvigorating existing fans of chamber music through innovative performances, recordings and their 66 million YouTube views.

Acclaim for the Trio and its members runs the gamut from Downbeat Magazine, which exclaims the group is "packed with musicianship, joy, and surprise" to The New York Times, which calls beat-boxing flutist Greg Pattillo "the best in the world at what he does."

Tickets for Wednesday's performance are still available: $5 for students, $8 for seniors and $10 for general admission. Visit http://www.ohio.edu/performingarts/tickets.cfm for ticket information.
