Ohio continued its undefeated stretch at home with a 72-47 victory over the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
The Bobcats had no trouble scoring on the Bulldogs, moving freely about the court. By the final media timeout of the first half, the ‘Cats had doubled Alabama A&M’s score. Ohio carried a 15-point lead into halftime.
The offensive output did not slow as the second half got underway, the ‘Cats opening a 50-32 lead by the second media timeout.
Ohio advanced to 7-2 on the season and 6-0 at home ahead of a big matchup with nationally-ranked Massachusetts. The Minutemen come to the Convocation Center as the first ranked non-conference team to visit Athens since Kentucky in 1997.
