The No. 17 ranked Marietta College men’s basketball team will look to continue its hot 3-game winning streak when it takes on the Fighting Muskies of Muskingum University on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Ban Johnson Arena.

The Pioneers (7-1, 3-0) have gone an impressive 3-1 at home this season, with their only loss at the hands of then-ranked No. 3 College of Wooster in an 81-78 thriller.

Marietta’s two greatest home wins came from score lines of 98-77 and 79-58 against Wilmington College and Piedmont College, respectively.

The play of junior wing player Andy Dollman and sophomore wing player RaNeal Ewing has been exceptional, and these two players have been the main contributors on both sides of the ball.

Ewing leads the team in scoring with an average of 11.5 points a game while making 43.3 percent of his shots and grabbing 22 total rebounds.

Dollman isn’t far behind him with 11.4 points, making 52.0 percent of his 3-pointers and snatching a team-high 47 total rebounds.

The Fighting Muskies (3-3, 0-3) are struggling this season, coming off a tough 82-57 loss to Ohio Northern, which continued their three-game losing streak. However, they are 2-1 on the road.

Muskingum will look to continue its strong away performances by defeating the Pioneers and winning their first Ohio Athletic Conference game.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
