The 2014 Ohio University School of Art + Design Faculty Exhibition will feature original artwork ranging from graphic design, painting, sculpture and prints to photography, drawing, ceramics, video and installation art.

The biennial exhibition, held at Kennedy Museum of Art, will be on view from Jan. 17 through March 16 with an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Presenting the current work of 29 artists, this exhibition allows the School of Art + Design to display and celebrate the artistic research the faculty has been involved in. The artwork selected for the exhibition was chosen by each artist and should represent recent work from the last two years.

In the last year, the School of Art + Design faculty made a successful transition from Quarters to Semesters and implemented a new Foundation program and BFA degree in Studio Art.

Collectively, the faculty also completed approximately 250 national and international professional activity accomplishments, including exhibitions, conference presentations, lectures, publications (books, articles, chapters), workshops and artist residencies.

Faculty Noon Talks will be held at Kennedy Museum of Art on Jan. 23 and 30, Feb. 6 and 20 and March 13.
