Crime Solvers Anonymous Releases Crimes Of The Month

An Arson at the Athens Wal-Mart tops the list of Athens County Crime Solvers Anonymous' crimes of the month.

Police are still looking for a subject in connection to the fire last November on East State Street that resulted in moderate damage to the building and merchandise.

In addition, Police are looking for answers following a series of over forty buglaries that have occured since December.

A vast majority of them occurred in the student housing areas of Athens.

Police said the perpetrators stole a variety of items ranging from electronics to food.

They said there is a good chance that several different indiciduals are responsible for the crimes.

Crime Solvers Anonymous is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction in these and other cases.
