Ohio baseball's season opener has been postponed to Saturday Feb. 15 due to poor weather conditions in Cullowhee, N.C.

The original three-day series scheduled to begin Friday has been moved to Saturday, where the teams will face off in a double header starting at noon. The series will conclude with a game on Sunday starting at 1:00 pm.

These games will challenge the Bobcats, as the Catamounts finished their 2013 with a 39-20 record and won the Southern Conference title. Western Carolina is ranked No. 31 in the national preseason poll by Collegiate Baseball.

The Green and White are entering their second season under head coach Rob Smith after a 14-39 campaign in 2013.
