Rio Grande struggled without junior forward Josh Reagan on Thursday night, as it fell to Lindsey Wilson, 91-75.

Rio lost its fifth straight contest and fell to 16-12 overall and 9-8 in the Mid-South Conference.

Four Rio Grande players scored in double digits but the offensive firepower wasn’t enough to beat the Blue Raiders.  D.D Joiner led the way for Rio Grande with 24 points followed by Ricky Tisdale who added 13. Evan Legg netted 12 points while Jermaine Warmack contributed 10 in the losing effort.

Rio shot 54 percent from the three-point line but the loss of Reagan contributed to the lack of points in the paint.

Daronte’ Clark led the Blue Raiders in scoring with 16 points.

Lindsey Wilson improved to 15-14 overall and 6-11 in the MSC.

The RedStorm will return to action on Saturday to face Cumberland University in their final regular season game.
