Two Arrests Come From Meth Lab Found In Wellston

A methamphetamine lab was found within Wellston City limits, resulting in two arrests on Thursday.

According to the Jackson County Times-Journal, Jackson County Municipal Court Probation Department has teamed with the local police in order to deal with the drug bust.

George H. Fisher III, 30, of Albany, and Charles L. Moore, 40, of Wellston were discovered at 1208 South Indiana Ave. in Wellston. Moore had the active methamphetamine lab inside his jacket.

Officers discovered that Fisher had driven Moore to that location in his Jeep, which was parked on the street in front of the residence, and the lab had been in the Jeep.

The Jeep was impounded and both Fisher and Moore were taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility. They will be charged with Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for Manufacture of Drugs, a felony in the 3rd degree, and Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, a felony in the 2nd degree.
