Gallia County sheriff deputies are investigating what caused a car, with two people inside, to catch fire.
Sheriff Joe Browning told WSAZ the car and bodies were discovered at about 3:30 Thursday afternoon along Garner Ford Road in Raccoon Township.
He says they know the car did not wreck. Deputies are now focusing on what started the fire and how the two inside died.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation has arrived to help with the investigation.
The victims have not yet been identified. Sheriff Browning says the family of the person the car is registered to has been notified.
