Acting Like An Artist: Dr. Harry Greene Talks Reptiles

Greene is a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at Cornell University, where he is the leading expert in snakes and reptiles. He came to Ohio University to speak in the Kennedy Lecture Series under the topic, "Natural history and aesthetics: why should we care about nature?"
He has multiple books published, his latest called, Tracks and Shadows: Field Biology as Art. Today Dr. Greene discusses how appreciating animals is a lot like appreciating artwork, how he's only been bit by one venomous snake, and what a giant tortoise and Ted Turner have in common.
