A well-known Athens attorney died suddenly Monday of unknown causes.
Thomas Eslocker collapsed at his home was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m. by doctors at the emergency room at O’Bleness Hospital.
The Athens County Coroner will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death but it is not considered suspicious.
Eslocker had been an attorney in Athens since 1976. He concentrated his regional practice primarily in domestic relations handling thousands of divorces, dissolutions of marriage, and custody issues.
He was admitted to the bar of the U. S. District Court of Southern Ohio in 1977. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1988.
