Former Ohio assistant basketball coach Anthony Stewart will continue his coaching career as the associate head coach at the University of Tennessee-Martin, the school announced today.

Stewart, 43, spent the last two years serving as an assistant on the Ohio men's basketball team, helping lead it to two postseason appearances.

Stewart will be reunited with UT-M head coach Heath Schroyer. Stewart served as an assistant under Schroyer at the University of Wyoming from 2007-2011.

Before spending the past two seasons in Athens, Stewart also coached at Southern Illinois, Long Beach State and Columbus State Community College.

Stewart is known as a strong recruiter, as he recruited standouts Desmar Jackson to Wyoming and Aaron Nixon to Long Beach State.
