A former Ohio University student, Cory J. Bohache, 21, pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Athens County Common Pleas Court to three felonies and he will be heading to prison.

He entered guilty pleas to one second-degree felony of trafficking in cocaine, one third-degree felony of possession of cocaine, and one fourth-degree felony of trafficking in marijuana.

Bohache was sentenced to a mandatory two years in prison on the cocaine trafficking charge. He also will serve an additional five years of Community Control for the possession of cocaine and the trafficking in marijuana.

If Bohache would violate the terms of his Community Control, he would serve an additional four years and six months in prison.

The charges stemmed from a drug sale on Jan. 18 within a school zone on N. Congress St. in Athens, according to Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn.

Bohache was an Ohio University student at the time of his arrest.
