WOUB Digital, in partnership with the Ohio University School of Media Arts & Studies and the Nelsonville Music Festival, is proud to present The Gladden House Sessions.

Hosted by Josh Antonuccio, this 15-part video series features performers at the 2014 Nelsonville Music Festival, filmed in front of an audience at the historic Gladden House, located at Hocking College’s Robbins Crossing.

On each show, Antonuccio chats with the artists, who also perform acoustic versions of their songs.

In this, our debut episode, self-described “organic moonshine roots” musician Valerie June plays the traditional tune “Old Joe Clark” and “Workin’ Woman Blues,” featured on her critically acclaimed 2013 Sunday Best release, Pushin’ Against a Stone.

New Gladden House Sessions episodes will be posted on woub.org/arts every Monday and Thursday through July 2014. For more information about the series, visit this link.
