Even though high pressure is dominating and usually means clear skies, low-level moisture in the atmosphere will cause the heavy cloud cover to continue through this afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will begin to warm up tomorrow and will reach into the upper 40s by the beginning of next week.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs reaching into the low 40s. A slight chance of rain will be in store for Monday and will last through Monday night.
Tuesday holds a chance for rain showers that will pick up through the night. Wednesday, the temperatures will fall throughout the day as a cold front passes, and the rain will turn to snow showers. Christmas Day holds a chance of light snow showers.
