1)Jackson Ironmen (6-0, 1-0)

The Ironmen have built a defensive wall that has not allowed a touchdown in four of their last five games. Jackson fended off any upset bid the Warren Warriors tried to bring, last week, by limiting them to just 83 total yards of offense. The Ironmen made it clear that they are focused on taking back the title of SEOAL champions. Jackson will look to stay undefeated as they welcome the Logan Chieftains to Alumni Stadium this Friday.

2)Logan Chieftains (3-3, 1-0)

Logan has won two games in a row following a win last Friday in their first SEOAL bout of the season with Portsmouth. The Chieftains defense has looked especially stout in their last two games, allowing just seven points per contest. Logan will travel to Jackson this Friday in what many would argue is the ‘SEOAL Championship’ game. The Chieftains defense must stay competitive as they have not won a game this year in which they have given up more than seven points.

3)Gallia Academy Blue Devils (2-4)

The Blue Devils are the only remaining SEOAL team to play a conference game this season. Following a 30-0 shutout loss to Belfry in Kentucky, the Blue Devils are eagerly awaiting Portsmouth this Friday. Following three-straight losses, Gallia Academy has struggled on offense so far this season. During the skid the Blue Devils have only mustered 10 total points on offense. Expect revenge to be on their minds as Portsmouth knocked off the Blue Devils last year, 31-21.

4)Portsmouth Trojans (1-5, 0-1)

Portsmouth opened their final season in the SEOAL against the Logan Chieftains with a 32-7 loss that drops the Trojans to 1-5 on the year, and puts them back on their second losing streak of the season. Portsmouth travels to ‘The Pit’ this Friday where they will look to knock off Gallia Academy.

5)Warren Warriors (1-5, 0-1)

Warren will get the week off from an SEOAL opponent following their 28-5 loss to the Jackson Ironmen last week. The Warriors offense has been sporadic at best as they have only reached double-digits twice this season. They will look to find that offensive spark and pick up win number two against Martins Ferry, this Friday.
