The state has created a new website aimed at helping Ohioans with disabilities find jobs and work-related resources.

The website – OhioMeansAccessibility.com – also provides potential employers with details about hiring incentives, workplace accommodations and employment law.

Job seekers are encouraged to post an online resume. Users can indicate whether they would like to be referred to employers specifically looking to hire individuals with disabilities.

The website also includes information about starting a business, building financial assets and transitioning from school to work.

Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Director Cynthia Dungey says the site can help disabled residents who want to begin a new career or take a job-training course.
