1) Point Pleasant Big Blacks (7-0)| Last Week: 1st

Point Pleasant improved to 7-0 on Friday with yet another convincing win, this one coming over Oak Hill by a score of 56-7. The game saw running back Cody Mitchell tie the Big Blacks' single-season touchdown record of 27, and there is still a lot of football to be played this season.

2) Parkersburg South Patriots (4-2)| Last Week: 2nd

The Patriots survived a scare from John Marshall on Friday to improve them to 4-2 on the year and secure the second spot for another week. Parkersburg South got the victory thanks to a missed Monarch field goal attempt that hit off of the left upright, giving the Patriots the 14-13 victory.

3) Williamstown Yellow Jackets (4-2)| Last Week: 3rd

Coming off of their second straight loss of the season, Williamstown’s bye week came at the perfect time for them. After their devastating loss to St. Mary’s, the bye week gave them time to both rest up and get some extra preparation for the rest of the season. This week, the Yellow Jackets will look to get back on track when they host the winless Wirt County Tigers.

4) Parkersburg Big Reds (3-3)| Last Week: 4th

Despite an impressive 24-0 victory over Woodrow Wilson last week, the Big Reds still round out the bottom of West Virginia. Parkersburg racked up 147 yards on the ground, and had some nice plays through the air as well. But it was the defense that really stood out in this one. The Big Red defense managed to hold the Flying Eagles to just 130 yards of total offense in the game. Parkersburg will look for their second victory in a row this week in Huntington as they take on the Highlanders. Parkersburg has lost four straight to the Highlanders, and will be looking to end that streak against the state runner-ups from a season ago.
