George Eberts hosts an astronomy talk with guest Bob Eichenberg. Mercury, the closest planet to the sun, is visible in the early morning hours from mid-October through early-November, and is quite the sight in the sky. The two also talk about the astronomical relationship between the Red Planet, Mars, and the star Antares, and the upcoming Orionid meteor shower on the night of October 20-21.
