On Tuesday, June 30th, Jeremy Webster and Paul Jones became the first same sex couple in Athens County to receive a marriage license.
While they were hoping to avoid the media attention, WOUB was able to get them into the studio for a short interview.
Paul Jones is Professor and the Director of Graduate Studies in the English Department at Ohio University and Jeremy Webster is the Dean of the Honors Tutorial College.
