SEOAL

Logan Chieftains 6-0 (0-0) | Next opponent vs. Jackson

The Chieftains have shown the ability to win shootouts with four of their six games yielding at least a combined 49 points. Jackson’s defense will be one of the toughest units Logan has faced all season, making it less feasible for Logan to pull off another shootout win.

Jackson Ironmen 5-1 (0-0) | Next opponent @ Logan

Jackson’s defense has proven its worth, shutting out two of its previous three opponents, but its defense will put to the test again against a high-flying Logan offense in the de facto SEOAL championship game.

Warren Warriors 0-6 (0-0) | Next opponent @ Union Local

The Warriors have scored 13 points through six games and are allowing nearly 45 points per contest.

Gallia Academy Blue Devils 0-6 (0-0) |Next Opponent @ Minford

While Warren has scored 13 points total, Gallia Academy is averaging 13 points per game, but it has yet to allow fewer than 21 points in game.

Mid-State League

 Bloom Carroll Bulldogs 4-2 (2-1) | Next opponent: @ Amanda-Clearcreek

The Bulldogs mustered up seven points in each of their last two games. The point total worked during their 7-0 win over Circleville. It did not when Logan Elm hung 52 on the Bulldogs the week prior.

Fairfield Union Falcons 3-3 (1-2) | Next opponent @ Hamilton Township

Fairfield Union’s victories to not lack for drama with its average margin of victory sitting at five points. However, offense continues to be an issue with week five’s 14 points standing as the team’s largest point total.

Amanda-Clearcreek Aces 1-5 (0-3) | Next opponent @ Bloom Carroll

The Aces fell to Fairfield Union on Friday despite allowing a season-low 13 points.

Scioto Valley Conference

Zane Trace Pioneers 6-0 (3-0) | Next opponent vs. Adena

The defense has allowed one double-digit point total all season, the offense has racked up 126 points over the previous three weeks, and the team is winning its games by an average of 34 points.

Life is good for Zane Trace.

Unioto Sherman Tanks 3-3 (1-2) | Next opponent vs. Westfall

A win against Southeastern was a breath of fresh air for Unioto after facing the conference’s premier teams in Unioto and Paint Valley to kick off SVC play.
