LOGAN, Ohio (AP) — An all-terrain vehicle connector has been completed at Wayne National Forest in southeast Ohio.

The Logan Daily News reports part of the forest’s ATV system was cut off when the bypass was constructed around Nelsonville.

Athens District Ranger Jason Reed says the path looks like brick but it is most likely made up of interlocking pavers, which are more suitable to withstand the wear and tear that an ATV trail would endure.

Reed told the newspaper he was unsure when the trail was completed, but it is currently open for use by the public.

Orange diamonds mark trails that are open for use. Unmarked trails are closed.

Trails are also available for use by other off-highway vehicles, for mountain bikes and for hiking.
