CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – Legal Aid of West Virginia has received a $90,000 grant to help private volunteer attorneys serve their clients.

The technology initiative grants will create six online interactive training classrooms and other tools for the attorneys. The program is aimed at supporting legal aid organizations in developing, testing and replicating technologies that improve services to low-income clients.

The funding announced Wednesday by the Legal Services Corp. in Washington pays for videos, client interview guides and tip sheets.

Legal Aid of West Virginia is one of 30 recipients of the 2015 funding, which totals more than $4.2 million.
