Inaugural “Birds in the Hills” Festival to Take Place April 23-24

On this episode of “Conversations from Studio B,” join host Shannon Stewart of the Rural Action Ohio Stream Restore Corps., and guests as they discuss Citizen Science in Appalachian Ohio and how listeners can get involved.

Guest today are Stefan Gliessberg, SE Ohio Director of the Ohio Ornithological Society, and Joe Brehm, Program Director of Rural Action’s Environmental Education Program.

On April 23 and 24, Rural Action will be hosting the first ever “Birds in the Hills Festival” at Camp Oty’Okwa. Highlights of the event includes trips to local birding hot spots, children’s activities, beer tastings and live music.
