Nesting Patterns, an exhibit of work by Rachel Clark, will hang in the ARTS/West gallery space, 132 W. State St. Athens, OH, Oct. 6 through Oct. 30, during the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Call for extended hours: 740-592-4315.

“My studio practice revolves around the development of a personal, often playful, version of abstraction,” said Clark about her exhibition. “I am drawn to contemplate ideas of an inner essence corresponding with the outer world as I form repetitive lines, print relief matrices, or collate materials.”

The mission of ARTS/West is to make facilities, resources, and opportunities available to arts organizations, individual artists, and community residents.  ARTS/West harnesses community focus for all individuals engaged in the creation, performance, and exhibition of the arts and promotes activities preserving the beauty, heritage, and culture of our town.

The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence, and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
