Unofficial results for Muskingum County, Ohio are in.

Republican Mollie Crooks received 20, 879 votes in the race for county commissioner compared to her Democratic opponent Jerry L. Lavy, who received 13, 778 votes.

Republican Cindy S. Cameron, who received 21, 549 votes, won the vote for the other open seat as county commissioner over Democratic candidate Dale Phillips who received 12, 575 votes.

Republican David Gormley received 18,929 votes in the county race for Ohio Court of Appeals compared to his Democratic opponent Earle E. Wise, who received 8, 308 votes.

The proposed levies for Muskingum County that were passed passed include the Blue Rock Twp. Cemetery Levy, Cass Twp. Fire Protection Levy, Jackson Fire District Fire Protection Levy, Licking Twp. 1 Fire Protection Levy, Licking Twp. 2 Fire Protection Levy, Muskingum Co. Children Services Levy, Newton Twp. Roads Levy, Newton Twp. Fire Protection Levy, Rick Hill Twp. Cemeteries Levy, Rich Hill Twp. Fire Protection Levy, South Zanesville Fire Protection Levy, Washington Twp. Fire Protection Levy, Roseville Village Current Expenses Levy. Local options passed include State Street Market Sunday Sales and El Parian Sunday Sales.

The levies not passed include Dresden Village Streets and Roads Tax Levy, Newton Twp. Electric Aggregation Tax Levy, Newton Twp. Gas Aggregation Tax Levy, Rolling Hills School District Tax Levy, and Roseville Village Marijuana Ordinance Tax Levy.

Voters did not pass the Dresden Village Streets and Roads Tax Levy by 289 votes to 359 votes. The levy would have covered the addition of streets and roads. The Newton Twp. Electric Aggregation Tax Levy did not pass with votes for the levy at 992 and votes against the levy at 1, 008. The Newton Twp. Gas Aggregation Tax Levy did not pass with votes for the levy at 997 and votes against the levy at 1, 011. The Rolling Hills School District Tax Levy would have provided a renewal of emergency requirements for the school district. The levy lost with votes for it at 3 and votes against it at 5. The Roseville Village Marijuana Ordinance did not pass with votes for it at 100 and votes against it at 112.
