Zanesville Community Theatre Opens ‘Forgiven: a Fairy Tale’ Feb. 3< < Back to
Forgiven: a Fairy Tale, opening this Friday, Feb. 3 at the Zanesville Community Theatre, is a family-oriented story on the power of forgiveness. Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Feb. 3, 4, 10 and 11, with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 12.
With a cast of 42, the production tells the story of Elizadora, an outcast from the rest of the fairy-tale folk, who gives in to bitterness when she is misunderstood and wronged. A simple act of kindness and understanding rights previous wrongs and prompts forgiveness, which is an important lesson for all. Some of the familiar characters include King Midas, Cinderella, and Goldilocks.
Forgiven is being directed for ZCT by Sarah Gantzer, with Michelle Robison as assistant director and Jillian B. Von Gunten as producer.
