The annual Athens Halloween Block Party returns to Court Street this weekend, which means the usual live music and costumed revelers, as well as road closings, various safety issues and for some, a night in the local lockup.

However, this year's event has a few new additions, including a social media presence, a low-power radio station and a public information kiosk located outside City Hall.

The event will be set up in the same way as previous years: two stages for live music, capping off both ends of the block.
