This week on Intouch with the Arts, we focus on a local actor, playwright, and educator named Patricia Thomas-Wilson. Patricia will be in studio talking about her latest play entitled "The Escape of Jane." The Escape of Jane is a one-women show about the travel of Jane and her seven children on the underground railroad. The show will feature segments of the production, shot at the beautiful Ariel Theatre, in Gallipolis, as part of the National Millenium Trail Celebration held there on Friday September 22, 2000.
Patricia will also be talking about her current position as a teacher with the federally funded project ROADMAP 2005 (Realizing Our Academic Dreams A Model Access Project).
The set for the show will feature pieces from the collection of Henry Burke and Charlie Fogle, borrowed from The Levee House Cafe in Marietta.
