Four Students Dead, Nine Wounded
On May 4, 1970, Ohio National Guard troops fired on a crowd of demonstrators and bystanders on the campus of Kent State University. Four Kent State stud ents were killed and nine were wounded.
For Dean Kahler, a twenty-year old Kent State undergraduate in 1970, that day in May would change his life forever. He was one of the nine students wounded.
Thirty years after being shot, Dean Kahler visits intouch to
talk about the events leading up to that fateful moment in American history and his life since then.
Get intouch! Thursdays at 8 pm Saturdays at 6 pm on WOUB TV
