intolerance, and discrimination through education and litigation.
The Southern Poverty Law Center's projects include the Intelligence Project, which tracks the activities of more than 500 racist and neo-Nazi groups. landmark lawsuits against the groups that promote
and inspire violence have effectively shut down some of the most virulent hate groups in the United States.
The educational project, Teaching Tolerance, is used by more than 400,000 educators in the United States. many of the educational materials are available free to teachers. More information about the
