WOUB Center for Public Media announces the WOUB Reading Rainbow Young
Writers & Illustrators Contest
Calling all young artists and writers! WOUB invites youngsters to participate
in the Reading Rainbow Young Writers & Illustrators Contest!
Children from kindergarten through third grade are encouraged to write and illustrate
their own stories and enter them into this contest. Conducted in cooperation
with WOUB-TV & Radio, applications are available from the WOUB station, our
web site: woub.org/kids, local libraries, and elementary schools in the WOUB-TV
viewing area.
WOUB-TV is currently accepting stories. Entries must arrive no later
than March 28, 2007. The address is:

Entries will be judged on originality, creative expression, storytelling and
integration of text and illustrations. Entries
are judged locally at WOUB Center for Public Media.
